Party menu available on request

The Usk offers good food throughout, you can choose to eat
Al-fresco, (honestly it does happen - sometimes) in the bar or the air conditioned bistro styled restaurant.

At lunchtimes from Monday to Saturday our Chefs now offer a table d'hote menu with at least four choices at each course and giving you the choice of two course for £10 or three courses for £12.95. A similar menu format is available for early dinners Monday to Thursday evenings. On Sunday lunch is a family affair with a choice of roasts. Sandwiches are always available whatever the time of day.

The Inn has a Seafood award from the AA Good Pub Guide, is one of the "PICK OF THE PUBS". For several years now the Inn has held a Rosette award for its food from the AA and is pleased to announce that the RAC has finally caught up and granted its dining award.

The menu itself is extensive and is supported by changing blackboard at both lunch and dinner. We make good use of the abundance of local ingredients in so far as possible. A wide cross section of food is offered, catering to most tastes as befits an Inn which is predominantly a Tourist destination. There is simple fayre and the more exotic, with meat coming from the local farm at Middlewood near Bwlch and Brecon Butcher E R East and Son & Paddy Sweeney. Fish comes up from Cardiff, Vin Sullicvan & Moby Nicks of Plymouth . Matthews of Brecon deliver fresh vegetables to us every day direct from their overnight trips to the Markets. Gron Davies Brecon's dairyman brings fresh milk &cream local eggs and Welsh yoghurts.

Our long relationship with John Sullivan at Vin Sullivan fine foods now in Blaenavon continues here as it has in every other establishment we have ever been involved with. Great cheeses made in wales, are just one of the lines which we source with John's expertise.

The wine list though small, offers some carefully chosen wines, and again there are wines of the month and other promotions. Real Ales are offered together with Guinness and lagers and a traditional Cider.

Families are welcome, and to prove the point we offer not only high chairs & a Kiddies' Menu but also a toy basket!
